What is the favorite part of your job?

Seeing lightbulbs go off — particularly when it involves new awareness around misunderstood alcohol/drug issues – is a very rewarding part of my job. Training, writing curriculum, consulting, problem-solving client issues and mulling over new information and issues with our team are favorite parts of my days at Working Partners®.

What are your personal passions?

Reading. Not really, but I wish it was. (Puts me to sleep.) My family, live music, movies at Oscar time, checking out new and interesting restaurants, purposeful parenting, hosting gatherings for family and friends, the beach and the Buckeyes are at the top of my passion list.

Share a fun fact about yourself – a quirky tidbit.

I love music and am singing a song in my head at all times! (Just ask me. It might take a minute to bring it into consciousness, but it’s there!) And it must be genetic, as I recently learned my father shares this same musical quirk.

What is your professional background?

My entire professional career has been in the alcohol/drug arena. After graduating with an undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University, I worked in the clinical setting counseling adults and adolescents before recognizing my passion for prevention and working with systems. The bulk of my work has been focused on the workplace, a powerful place to ignite change within people and bottom lines!
