Our accident rate has decreased since we implemented our drug-free workplace program around five years ago. Pre-employment testing could be one reason, as prospective employees understand that we test “up-front” and are dissuaded from even applying with Shoemaker. Current employees are becoming more conscious of safety simply because of our policy. This is a testament to the policy we have in place and the work of Working Partners®.
