She kept it interesting. Nobody was nodding off. Quite a few people had come up to Lelia and mentioned it was really good information.

Allison always remained professional. She always brought the group back to how it is documented in the policy. Diana communicated and related well with the empoyees. She was very relaxed with the employees and not so serious.

Allison very knowledgeable in the subject. The manner in which she trains is very high energy and she kept the staff involved.

The best part – "I did not have to instruct the training". Allison called some of the employees by name – very good. Their group is not very vocal and Allison did very well with them.

Each year we also bring Working Partners^®’ trainers to our worksite to do employee education and supervisor training. Scheduling and coordinating the sessions is always a breeze, and the trainers are always professional but at the same time very down to earth. The trainers are awesome! They never loose control of the classroom and I am pleasantly surprised each year about how well they receive the presented information. Working Partners^® has been invaluable to us!

When our company decided to develop our drug-free workplace program, Working Partners^® made it extremely easy for us. They could answer any questions that we had and seemed to know exactly what we needed. The education and training that we received as Program Administrators was invaluable. I think that the knowledge we received allowed us to effectively pre-plan our approach with our employees and they received it much better than we anticipated they would. Since implementing our program, we have called on Working Partners^® several times with help on specific employee issues. Any time we have questions, they are always there.

Our biggest success story with our program involved an employee who was tested for reasonable suspicion. It was early in our program, at a time when we were still trying to figure out how to best implement our program. He was tested and was found to be under the influence of alcohol. We referred him for an assessment and for treatment, and when he came back to work his productivity greatly increased. Before we confronted him he was marginally doing his job. Now he is working in a lead role and is a very valued member of our team. Our program saved this guy.

Funk Finecast developed their drug-free workplace policy with the assistance of Working Partners^® several years ago. The development process was very involved and lengthy, as our company practice is to work with a steering committee to develop and adopt such practices. The whole process took over a year and Working Partners^® was very patient and instrumental in educating our committee and working with them to understand the difficult issues involved in developing a drug-free workplace. The effort that we put into the development process, though, was well worth it. We have had no big confrontations from employees about what we implemented. We were able to do it the right way.

The telephone support services that they have provided to us have also been invaluable, and the trainers that have come to our site to do employee education and supervisor training have all been fabulous. Our employees always learn something new each year – things that they can use personally. But again, the policy development service was the most beneficial – without this first step with the, our drug-free workplace policy would have never happened.

We have worked with Working Partners^® for many years, but probably the most instrumental service that they have provided to us was in the initial policy development phase. We knew philosophically that we wanted to put a drug-free workplace program into place and we wanted to apply for the workers’ compensation discount, but we didn’t know where to begin. Working Partners^® helped us move forward – they ‘dummied it up” for us by providing a policy that was legally accurate.
